We are a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia established in 1651 and named after Henry Stuart, Duke of Gloucester (the third son of Charles I of England.)
Who are Master Gardeners?
Gloucester Master Gardeners are volunteer educators who work within Gloucester County to encourage and promote environmentally sound horticultural practices using sustainable landscape management, education and training.
Why Become a Master Gardener?
Gloucester Master Gardeners gain valuable horticultural knowledge that we can share within our community. By teaching and demonstrating responsible environmental landscape practices. Gloucester Master Gardeners improve the quality of life in the County. Additional benefits to joining Master Gardeners include the opportunities to learn from other members and make new friends who have many common interests.
